A new dawn is breaking: Robert Pattinson and fiancée Suki Waterhouse are back in the spotlight together, this time as parents.
The Twilight alum and Daisy Jones & the Six star were all smiles as they attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Oct. 5. This marks their first official joint appearance at an event in almost one year and it comes months after Suki gave birth to their first child, a baby girl, in March.
The singer, 32, arrived in a black, floral, belted, plunging maxi dress with puffed half-length sleeves while Robert, 38, sported a blue suit with no tie. Both wore sunglasses.
While the couple has not shared the name of their daughter, the pair have spoken about her and their experience being new parents.
"It’s just the greatest thing to go home every day and look into [her] little eyes," Suki exclusively told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi at the 2024 MTV VMAs in September. "I’m just absolutely obsessed with her. She’s turning over, sitting up, trying to crawl, doing all the things."
In June, Robert said that having a baby "makes you feel very old and very young."
Speaking to an attendee at the Dior Homme Menswear spring/summer 2025 show in Paris, the actor went on to express his awe at his daughter's development.
"I'm amazed by how quick their personality comes, at just 3 months" he said, as seen in a video shared on X. "I can kinda see who she is already. It's great."
The two, who got engaged in 2023 and have been together for more than six years, had discussed starting a family before conceiving their daughter.
"No, we really planned it," Suki told British Vogue in an interview published in July. "One day we looked at each other and said, ‘Well, this is as ready as we’re going to be.'"
The actress continued with a laugh, "I was like, ‘What can make more chaos?'"
Look back at Robert and Suki's road to romance...
Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson first sparked relationship speculation in July 2018, when they were photographed on a PDA-filled date night in London.
In Dec. 2022, the private pair made their relationship red carpet official at Dior's fashion show in Egypt...
...where they couldn't help but show off their love.
The Daisy Jones actress and the Twilight alum turned the 2023 Met Gala into a date night on the first Monday in May.
The couple attended GO Campaign's 17th annual GO Gala at Citizen News in Hollywood on Oct. 21.
About two weeks after Suki confirmed her pregnancy, she and Rob went to the Poor Things premiere in New York. And they weren't the only stars there as Taylor Swift was also at the event.
In February 2023, Suki shared rare insight into her relationship with Rob. "I'm always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up [on my phone] or even a text, and I think he feels the same about me," she told The Sunday Times. "We've always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious."
"Rob definitely isn't getting advice from me about acting," Suki shared with The Sunday Times, "but of course I'll try and get him to help me with an audition before he falls asleep on the sofa."
The singer introduced the couple's baby on Instagram April 4, writing, "welcome to the world angel."
The pair made their first official joint appearance since welcoming their daugher Oct. 5, 2024 at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
